Here is a flat and inanimate storyline with meager production values. Cast includes Sissy Spacek, Anna Chlumsky, Aaron Michael Metchik, Asher Metchik, Maureen Stapleton, and Merritt Yohnka.
Inglorious Bastards – 5 cadets getting ready to be court-martialed in WW2 take off and try to make their way through France, wanting to get to the Swiss border. Cast includes Ian Bannen, Bo Svenson, Fred Williamson, Peter Hooten, and Michael Pergolani.
Gus – Football kicking mule named Gus catapults a last-place team to success; crooks try to abduct Gus with typical outcomes like dry pursuit in an expectation thriller. Cast includes Edward Asner, Don Knotts, Gary Grimes, Tim Conway, Louise Williams, Dick Van Patten, and Dick Butkus.
Casino – Sam Rothstein has worked his way through the mafia ranks and now runs the casino that his Chicago company owns. Deliverance – This is an outstanding re-creation of the Dickey novel of 4 Atlanta businessmen who get more than they can handle throughout a weekend canoe trip. McKinney and Coward are 2 of the most gruesome film scoundrels in history. The "Dueling Banjos" scene is very memorable. Film debuts of Beatty and Cox. James Dickey adjusted his own novel, and appears in the film as a sheriff. Ed O'Neill appears as a freeway watcher near end of film. Cast includes Cast includes Jon Voight, Burt Reynolds, Ned Beatty, Ronny Cox, Billy McKinney, Herbert "Cowboy" Coward, and James Dickey.
Dracula Dead and Loving It – Dracula gets the Mel Brooks treatment in this lampoon motion picture which invests so much time retelling the recognizable Transylvanian's tale it forgets to be preposterous. There are some good minutes for Brooks' fans, but just not enough. Cast includes Leslie Nielsen, Peter MacNicol, Steven Weber, Amy Beck, Charlie Callas, and Anne Bancroft.
Ocean's Twelve – Three years ago Danny Ocean and his team of eleven had pulled of one of the most daring heists in modern times. Terry Benedict, the casino owner they swindled out of $160 million wants his money back, and knows who robbed him. This leads to another and more diabolical plot to deal with this new mess.
The Last Seduction – Pathologically malicious and stunningly sensual female ditches her spouse, snatches the money he has made in a drug deal, and escapes N.Y.C. to a tiny upstate town where she attracts and bewilders a local gentleman who becomes her latest patsy. Fiorentino's spicy femme fatale makes Stanwyck in Triple Indemnity look like Snow White! The movie is a scorching, seductive thriller from contemporary film noir master Dahl and author Steve Barancik. Cast includes Linda Fiorentino, Peter Berg, J. T. Walsh, Bill Nunn, Bill Pullman, Michael Raysses, and Zach Phifer. (110 minutes, 1994)
China Moon – Small-town cop Harris lusts after miserably wedded Stowe in this moody film noir. A few nice twirls, although production is more than a tad comparable to the better Body Heat. This is a directorial debut for Bailey, more generally known as a top cinematographer. Cast includes Madeline Stowe, Charles Dance, Benicio Del Taro, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Roger Aaron Brown, and Patricia Healy.
