Man in The Attic – flavorful account of notorious Jack the Ripper, with Palance going full-blast. Remake of The Lodger. Cast list includes Jack Palance, Constance Smith, Byron Palmer, Frances Bavier, Rhys Williams, Sean McClory, Isabel Jewell, and Leslie Bradley. (82 minutes, 1954)

Down Argentine Way – Enjoyable 20th Century Fox musical with Grable in the movie that increased her to stardom falling in love with slick Argentinean horse breeder Ameche. Miranda is fantastic in her first American film, acting infectious Brazilian melodies with her own band and look out for the Nicholas Brothers, who do a dynamite forte number. Picture postcard color all the way through. Cast includes Don Ameche, Betty Grable, Carmen Miranda, Charlotte Wood, Carrol Naish, Henry Stephenson, and Leonid Kinskey. (90 minutes, 1940)

Lilies of the Field – A "little" movie that made wonderful, triumphing Poitier an Oscar as handyman who helps to raise a chapel for Skala and German-talking nuns. Cast includes Sidney Poitier, Lilia Skala, Lisa Mann, Isa Crino, and Stanley Adams. (93 minutes, 1963)

Music for Millions – Teary story of battle-newlywed Allyson, a cellist in Iturbi's orchestra, gallantly delaying to have a toddler for her spouse's return. O'Brien is her precocious baby sibling. When there's lots of Chopin and Debussy, Durante robs the film with boredom. Cast includes Margaret O'Brien, Jimmy Durante, June Allyson, Marsha Seek, Hugh Herbert, Marie Wilson, Larry Adler, and Ethel Griffies. (120 minutes, 1944)

Scream 3 – As the name implies this is the third movie in the Scream series. Sydney has run away to Northern California, and is in hiding. Back in L.A. they are filming a film about Sydney's life. When there are a series of killings on the set of the movie, Sydney must return to L.A. and help the cops find the killer.
